The annual fee for Family/Individual Membership in the Chevra Kadisha of Englewood is $54 per year.
Family/Individual Membership includes husband and wife and unmarried children up to age 26. If you wish your parents, unmarried children 26 years of age or older, or other extended family members to have the benefits of the Chevra’s services, you can open one or more separate Additional Memberships in their names. The annual fee for each Additional Membership is $36 per year.
The Chevra is introducing new categories for lifetime membership avoiding the need for
annual payments.
CHESED

This level includes lifetime support on behalf of your immediate family including husband, wife and unmarried children of any age.
KAVOD
$2,500.0
This level includes the same benefit as the CHESED level. In addition, extended family is included.
NO ONE WILL BE REFUSED MEMBERSHIP IN THE CHEVRA KADISHA DUE TO FINANCIAL HARDSHIP.
The Chevra Kadisha of Englewood is a tax exempt organization under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code
Your application for membership constitutes your instructions to your family and relatives that, if the Chevra Kadisha of Englewood is involved, you wish your funeral and interment to be in accordance with Halacha and the procedures of the Chevra Kadisha of Englewood.
